If we’re getting a new Superman in the DCU, then surely new incarnations of Lois Lane and Lex Luthor are sure to follow. Courtesy of James Gunn and Peter Safran, the future plans for Superman are changing dramatically as the plans for the DCU’s movie slate come together. Controversially, Gunn and Safran have nixed all plans for Henry Cavill’s Superman to continue on in the DCU. This is because Gunn is penning the script for another Superman film that will introduce a younger version of the extra-terrestrial superhero.
