Frozen star Josh Gad is currently working on the long-awaited sequel to the beloved Mel Brooks comedy, Spaceballs, and has now said exactly what fans wanted to hear about the project. During a recent appearance on Sirius XM’s The Spotlight with Jessica Shaw, Gad revealed that, not only is Spaceballs 2 a direct sequel to the 1987 original, it will take major inspiration from Mel Brooks’ entire back catalog and will be “worth the near-40 year wait.
