Gerard Butler continues to fly the flag for high-octane action movies, but is his latest thriller sequel, Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, a worthy addition to the genre? The follow-up, which sees Butler’s Detective Nicholas “Big Nick” O’Brien break bad and join forces with the villain from the 2018’s Den of Thieves, O’Shea Jackson Jr.’s conman and thief Donnie Wilson, for a diamond heist in Europe. The reviews for the action sequel are now in, with Den of Thieves 2: Pantera debuting with a score of 72% on Rotten Tomatoes. So, for now, at least, the sequel has far surprassed its 41% predecessor.
