The next film based on a book by mega-bestselling author Colleen Hoover has landed some heavyweight talent with Madame Web star Dakota Johnson and Trap‘s Josh Hartnett. Following the success of It Ends with Us, Hoover adaptations are in high demand. Amazon MGM picked up the rights to Verity, Hoover’s self-published bestselling novel from 2018, with Anne Hathaway attached to star, reuniting with The Idea of You director Michael Showalter.
