The Fockers are returning to the big screen as Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro are set to reprise their roles in a new installment in the Meet the Parents series. A remake of a 1992 independent film of the same name, Meet the Parents follows Greg Focker (Ben Stiller), who goes with his girlfriend Pam Byrnes (Terri Polo) to visit her parents, Jack and Dina (Robert De Niro and Blythe Danner respectively). Jack, a retired CIA agent, makes the visit a weekend-long interrogation for Greg, putting him through the wringer to win the family’s approval. Meet the Parents was a box office hit and became one of the highest-grossing movies of 2000, making $330.4 million worldwide and launching a franchise with 2004’s Meet the Fockers and 2010’s Little Fockers.
