Lewis Pullman Tried to Impersonate Justin Timberlake for His Skincare Role

Lewis Pullman (Top Gun: Maverick) stars in the darkly funny new mystery thriller Skincare, which is now playing in theaters. He plays an eccentric and ambitious influencer-type named Jordan who wants to help his renowned beautician pal, Hope (played by Elizabeth Banks), when a competing salon opens across the street from her business. It’s a rich role and could be Pullman’s finest performance to date and he drew from a boy band pop singer for it. Back when Pullman’s real-life actor dad, Bill Pullman, was starring in high-profile films like Independence Day, there was a surge of boy bands emerging, some of whom are still active and making headlines today.
