The first trailer for Till was just released from MGM Studios, depicting the tragic story of Emmett Louis Till and his mother’s legacy, who pursued justice for her lynched son. ‘If my son could just get his feet back onto the Chicago soil, he’d be one happy kid.’ Mamie Till-Mobley wanted better for her son in Mississippi, constantly warning him about the dangers of life, attempting to protect his innocence. Following the 1955 lynching, Mobley began fighting for justice after his murder. She went so far as to have an open casket during his funeral, showing the horrific acts done to the young child, helping lead to the creation of the civil rights movement.
