The sci-fi legend Ridley Scott is back with a seemingly more down-to-earth story with a cast that keeps getting better and better. In the latest announcement surrounding the Blade Runner director’s upcoming post-apocalyptic thriller, The Dog Stars, based on the novel by Peter Heller, the visionary director reveals that he will be reuniting with a long-time colleague. The film already boasts a stacked ensemble led by Jacob Elordi (Saltburn), which includes Margaret Qualley (The Substance), Josh Brolin (No Country for Old Men), and Guy Pearce (The Brutalist). With the film currently shooting in Italy, Doctor Strange star Benedict Wong has been announced as part of the stellar ensemble, giving him the chance to work with Scott after being featured in his previous films, Prometheus (2012) and The Martian (2015).
