After almost six hours of staring at chairs, Marvel fans have finally learned the official cast for Avengers: Doomsday as 27 stars were announced to lead the gigantic new film. But, according to Robert Downey Jr., who will play the film’s titular villain, Doctor Doom, there could still be a lot more to come. While the rest of the cast were absent, with Marvel Studios only revealing their set chairs, Downey Jr. capped off the tremendously long announcement video in person by shushing to the camera and pointing at his name on the back of his chair. The announcement included expected stars, like Chris Hemsworth, characters whose MCU fates were uncertain, like Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi, and even some legacy X-Men stars. But, thanks to a recent tease from Downey Jr. and Marvel Studios, there could be a lot more casting announcements to come.
