Captain America: Brave New World is the first of three Marvel Cinematic Universe films hitting theaters in 2025 and the first event movie of the year. First projections for the movie are suggesting that its opening weekend is looking promising, even if it might come in a bit below some fans’ expectations. The fourth film in the Captain America franchise will pick up following the events of the Disney+ series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and see Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson take over the mantle of Captain America and lead the franchise. The film’s marketing looks to capture the tone of the spy espionage angle that made Captain America: The Winter Soldier a hit with fans and critics while also bringing in some big set pieces with Harrison Ford set to play President Ross, aka Red Hulk.
