While plot details for the I Know What You Did Last Summer legacy sequel remain under wraps, we’re now learning that the reboot will not focus on Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt‘s characters. The two will reprise their roles as Ray Bronson and Julie James from the original film and its 1998 sequel, but according to Prinze Jr., he and Hewiitt are “not the leads of the movie by any stretch of the imagination.” Prinze Jr. recently appeared on Scale Talk Podcast with David Miniatures, where he discussed how co-writer and director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Do Revenge) integrated Julie and Ray into the upcoming movie.
