It looks like Blumhouse is dead set on continuing the iconic legacy of Universal’s Monsters. Their acclaimed take on The Invisible Man was lauded as one of the best horror films of the decade, and their upcoming Wolf Man is hotly anticipated. Now, Blumhouse and Atomic Monster are unearthing The Mummy. Officially titled Lee Cronin’s The Mummy, the film is slated for April 17, 2026. Cronin is writing and directing the film, produced by Atomic Monster, Blumhouse and Doppelgängers, for New Line. Cronin touted in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter:
