It has been three years since the accidental shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Alec Baldwin western Rust. The film made its debut at the Camerimage Festival in Poland in November 2024 to a “subdued” and thin crowd, Deadline reports. One person not in attendance was Hutchins’ mother, Olga Solovey, who publicly refused to appear at the premiere, stating that she viewed the release of the film as an attempt to profit off her daughter’s death.
