MGM has released the first look images and behind the scenes feature for George Clooney‘s upcoming film The Boys in the Boat, based on the non-fiction novel by Daniel James Brown, which hits theaters December 25. Published in 2004 under the title The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics, Brown’s book focuses on the great work done by the University of Washington rowing team in the years 30, which led them to participate in the 1936 Summer Olympics – Men’s eight.
