James Gunn Confirms No Strike Delays for Superman Legacy; Teases Amazing Set Designs

It’s official! Superman: Legacy will still open in theaters on July 11, 2025. Despite the long and exhausting Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strikes, writer and director James Gunn let the fans know this morning that the first Man of Steel film in the DCU will keep its release date. Gunn made the announcement on X, formerly Twitter. Gunn writes:
