It’s time for the Best Actor and Best Actress categories to merge into a single, genderless category according to The Crown star Emma Corrin. As someone who impressed critics with their performance as Diana, Princess of Wales in Netflix’s The Crown, Corrin won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in addition to getting nominated for an Outstanding Lead Actress Emmy Award. More recently, Corrin was nominated again for Best Actress at the Laurence Olivier Awards, this time for the stage show Anna X.
