Having avoided the Warner Bros. Discovery axe, Blue Beetle is now looking to be one of the most unique superhero movies to come from either the DCEU or MCU, as a lot of the movie will be in Spanish with subtitles. It was already known that Blue Beetle would be bringing a lot of representation for Latin stars, including Cobra Kai’s Xolo Maridueña in the title role, but according to co-star Susan Sarandon the much anticipated film will go further than other movies to ensure its Latin stars are heard as well as seen.
