Matt Reeves is taking his time with The Batman Part II, so much so that even Robert Pattinson is desperate to hurry up and shoot the sequel. Reeves’ offered a fresh take on The Dark Knight with 2022’s The Batman by actually making the world’s greatest detective be a detective. The Batman was a resounding success, holding an 85% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and grossing $722 million worldwide. The Batman Part II was greenlit quickly after The Batman‘s success, but development on the sequel has been slower than many fans hoped.
