The Batman is already regarded as one of the best superhero films of all time, a gritty crime film that sets itself apart from the rest of the genre. Director Matt Reeves has created a franchise that discards the fantastical elements of the source material for a realistic take on the Dark Knight, with Robert Pattinson playing the most vulnerable live-action iteration of the character. However, that has not stopped fans from speculating about his potential role in James Gunn’s rebooted DC Universe, which recently unveiled its own Batman in Creature Commandos.
