DC fans are now just hours away from the first trailer for James Gunn’s Superman dropping online. While the majority of the fan base cannot wait to see the first official trailer for the movie, leave it to Zack Snyder’s dedicated cronies to ruin a good thing, as they are (once again) calling for Henry Cavill‘s return. David Corenswet is the DC Universe’s new Clark Kent, starring alongside Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and will appear in Superman with a long future in the new DCU. But, before that, Henry Cavill was the Man of Steel of Zack Snyder’s DCEU. Like many Snyder movies, the DCEU was notably darker, and altered many aspects of its characters’ comic book story lines. Despite the changes, Snyder developed a die-hard fan base, and they’re incredibly vocal about their love for Cavill’s Superman.
