We spoke with Giovanni Ribisi leading up to the release of Strange Darling, for which he served as both producer and director and photography. Ribisi, famous for titles of great variety such as Avatar and Horizon (more info on those below), Lost in Translation, Friends, Sneaky Pete, and Saving Private Ryan, mostly stayed behind the camera for his groundbreaking new thriller, directed by JT Mollner. But despite the fact that we’re used to seeing Ribisi in front of the lens, he confirmed to us that he’s always been interested in cinematography as well.
