Digimon Adventure 02 is coming back with a bang! The long awaited film, Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning, is on its way to theaters in America in the next few weeks. In anticipation, Toei has released the first four minutes of the film to whet our appetites with. The film opens up with a mysterious egg appearing over Tokyo Tower. Everything electronic is going crazy as onlookers take pictures of the mysterious phenomenon. A strange yellow glow emanates from the egg, which sweeps over the sky and starts affecting all screens. Anything with a screen on it, be it digital billboards, computers, or what have you, start parroting an odd message. Even peoples’ phones are blaring the message. It’s then that we see the Digimon 02 cast react to the message one by one. The sequence also shows the international digi-destined children getting the messages as well. Then we see a mysterious new stranger looking up to the sky, a broken digivice in his hands…
